I had balloons inflated at Michael's, and within 20 minutes they had all deflated. I live 30 minutes away, so I drove back to the store. I was told they don't guarantee their balloon inflation service, even though they offer it. I wasn't offered a refund, replacement, or any solution. Making a second trip for nothing was frustrating and a waste of my time. Very disappointing customer service. I would not recommend using this service.

The cashier was extremely rude because I didn’t use self checkout. I didn’t catch her name, but it so off putting. People just want to make art, be nice!

Is being rude a requirement to work at Michael’s? Extremely disappointing experience at this store. I went in to return an item and was met with very unprofessional and dismissive behavior from management. The attitude made a simple return unnecessarily unpleasant and uncomfortable. The customer service from management (a girl with short hair and a lip ring ) did not meet basic expectations of professionalism.

The framing department here is fantastic. We've worked with several of their framing employees and all have been incredibly friendly and highly knowledgeable about what will look good. We usually come with a solid baseline idea about what we want but they're always able to help us refine our vision and find the perfect matting and frame to really complement the art.

I like the inventory at Michael's. I travel the entire state of South Carolina on a daily basis, so i'm in many different cities daily. I visit many different locations and notice that each store has a basic similar inventory, but the individual stores always have little bonus finds that I don't see at other locations. The prices on the products are in line with other craft stores, but higher than you can find as a thrifty shopper. The store was dirtier overall than some of the other stores I frequent, and the bathroom was atrocious. Every stall was dirty, and each toilet was in dire need of attention. There was plenty of parking.However, they were putting new asphalt down in the parking lot, so a lot of it was blocked off, but I still had no trouble finding plenty of spaces.
